FAQ
What age or stage is this course for? Suitable for babies approximately 5–14 months and focuses on the crawling milestone. The activities are suited to those who - Can push up high on their tummy and reach out for toys in tummy time - Want to be proactive about their baby learning to crawl - Seem to be stuck progressing to hands-and-knees crawling from tummy time, commando crawling, or are starting to use “atypical” crawling patterns like bottom shuffling How long do I have to do the activities each day? The actives are specifically designed to fit into your day with ease (I am a mum too, I get it). Sessions are short and playful, designed for your baby’s attention span. 20 minutes of purposeful play with the activities each day is recommended for your baby to learn and progress. This could be at once or broken into smaller parts. When are the live play group sessions? Are they recorded? These usually run on a Tuesday morning 9am GMT. If this time doesn't suit - do get in touch, there are often alternate times for members overseas. No, they are not currently recorded. This is to ensure babies privacy and you feel comfortable turning on your camera and asking questions during the group. What equipment or setup do I need? A safe floor space, soft mat, and a few toys are sufficient. Activities are designed to be simple and adaptable to your home. Will this course guarantee my baby will crawl? No. Every baby develops at their own pace and on their own journey. This course provides supportive play activities but cannot guarantee specific outcomes. How long will it take my baby to crawl? Timing varies. Most babies make clear progress within a few days to one week of purposeful practice. Many crawl within weeks; some may take a couple of months. Is this course right for my baby? This course is designed for general motor development through play. It is not physiotherapy or medical treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider if your baby has any medical, neurological, or physical conditions. What happens on the zoom calls? These are a physio - led play based class focused on crawling activities. You can follow along with your baby or simply watch. There is lots of time for Q&A where you can gain support with your baby’s journey. Do you offer refunds? No, due to the digital nature of the product. Please review course details before enrolling and feel free to contact with any questions prior. Why don’t you advertise or share specific success stories about how long it took babies to crawl? Physiotherapy has a professional code against this type of testimonial which guarantee an outcome, or a timeframe. This is appropriate as it acknowledges that all babies develop differently. Parents are very welcome to share experiences voluntarily and it is wonderful to hear these! Can I do the course at my own pace? Yes. The course is flexible so you can follow your baby’s cues and schedule. Are the Zoom calls recorded if I can’t attend live? Yes, recordings are available, but only for a limited time after each live session to ensure people feel comfortable interacting on the call. Can I book a private session with you? Yes of course! I have an in person and virtual clinic, but currently only for UK residents. I am worried about my babies development. Can I do this instead of having a physiotherapy or medical care appointment? No. This is a general play-based program. It is not individualised therapy, it does not assess your child, and cannot replace medical or physiotherapy advice.
